When using the Cite button in NavigatorSearch (formerly Roadrunner) or EBSCOhost, the APA formatted citations are incorrect. Why is the format inaccurate?
Cite Feature
When using the Cite feature available within NavigatorSearch (formerly Roadrunner) and the EBSCOhost databases, please keep in mind that the citations are automatically machine-generated and are likely to contain errors.
The following note is displayed above the citation formats:
Consult your library for more information on citing resources and follow specific requirements from your instructor.
Review the instructions at EBSCO Support Site and make any necessary corrections before using. Pay special attention to personal names, capitalization, and dates. Always consult your library resources for the exact formatting and punctuation guidelines.
It is extremely important to check for proper APA Style, as database citation tools are subject to error.
