How do I locate information about an initial public offering (IPO)?

You may use the NASDAQ IPO website in order to locate information on initial public offerings.

You may also browse issues of Investor's Business Daily within the Library. This daily investment newspaper includes a “New Issues” section that lists IPO filings soon to be priced, as well as listing prices of recent IPOs. For each IPO it includes the offer date, high filing price, offers price, current price, industry group, and lead underwriter.

Note: After clicking on the above link for Investor's Business Daily, you will need to select the database link for a Library database (Nexis Uni, Business Source Complete, etc.) to access the publication.
