How do I transfer all of my RefWorks citations from another institution's account into a new account here?

Instructions appear below for transferring references between ProQuest RefWorks accounts.

ProQuest RefWorks to ProQuest RefWorks:

Please follow the below instructions to export the data from your RefWorks Account from another institution for upload into your new RefWorks account.

1) Log into your other institution's RefWorks account and go to the All Documents folder.

2) Select "Export references" from the Share & Export menu (rectangle with arrow icon).

3) Make sure that "All references in 'All Documents'" is selected, as well as RIS Format. Click on the "Export" button and save the exported file to your computer.

4) Log into your new RefWorks account. Click the plus sign (+) menu and select "Import references."

5) Select "RefWorks Tagged Format" from the format drop-down menu.

6) Click "select a file from your computer" to find your .ris file on your computer. You could also drag/drop the file.

7) Your references from your previous account should now appear in your new account's Last Imported folder.
