How do I use MyEBSCO Folders to save articles and searches in the Navigator Search?

How to Use the MyEBSCO and My Dashboard in NavigatorSearch or any  EBSCO databases. 

Your personal MyEBSCO account has been automatically created for you. you have your own personal area, My Dashboard, to collect and store information across sessions. All the items you save to your Saved items remain there until you remove them. Only you can access your dashboard. See: How do I get a MyEbsco Account?

To save items to your MyEBSCO folder

  1. Search for the information that you want to save in your folder. You can save all types of search results to your folder. (For example, articles, links to searches, images, etc.)

  2. Add the items to your folder in any of the following ways:

    • Add one item – Click the bookmark icon EBSCO Bookmark Icon located to the right of the resource title. This adds only the single selected item to the saved resources on your dashboard. 

 

  • ​​​​​​​Add all the items on the page – Check mark the first box at the top of the list of results. This will select all items on your current page to be saved. If you select the arrow next to the box, you will have different saving options to select. Once you have made your selection, click on the bookmark icon  to save those resources.

 

 

The icon turns blue blue bookmark icon to indicate you bookmarked the article and it is available in your Dashboard. Click it again to remove your bookmark.

 

To view the contents of your Saved/Bookmarked resources. 

  1. Navigate to the left side of your EBSCO database or NavigatorSearch, and locate your dashboard. Select Saved.

  2. Select any title in your saved list to retrieve the resource.

To save articles to a specific Project

First, let's create a project. Select Projects from your dashboard, then select the blue plus icon in the top right corner. Enter a Name for your Project, choose a Due Date (optional), add any additional information in the description and click the Create button.

 

Now that you have custom projects created within your MyEBSCO dashboard, you can specify which project you would like your resources saved in when you click the Folder icon folder icon.

Remove saved items from your dashboard

To remove a resource from your saved items, simply unselect the bookmark. Once it is no longer blue, the resource is no longer saved.
