How can I find an article about an experiment that violates APA ethical standards?

To find articles about experiments that violate APA (American Psychological Association) ethical standards, follow the steps below.

  1. First, identify an unethical human experiment. One way to do this is by simply searching Google for “unethical human experimentation”.
  2. Next, go to the Library home page and try searching in a database like All EBSCO. Use names or keywords specific to an experiment to try to find peer-reviewed articles.
    • For example, to find articles about the Little Albert experiment in 1920, a simple search for (“Little Albert” AND experiment) will bring up some relevant results.
    • Some experiments will have more results than others, so give different ones a try.
