National University does not provide a standardized template for creating tables that list library/database search terms. The dissertation template for Chapter 2 (DSE) and simply states, "At the end of this section, indicate the databases accessed and the search engines used. Discuss all the search parameters, including the search terms and their combinations (with more detailed search terms located in an appendix, if appropriate), range of years, and types of literature."

For Applied Doctoral Experience (ADE) students, check the individual school templates for any recommendations about the inclusion of library/database search terms. 

If your dissertation chair has requested a table, please contact them directly for clarification. NU's Dr. Bridgeforth has created an example table on pages 7-8 of his Literature Search Strategy document (attached below FAQ under Links & Files). The following example dissertations also include a table with database search terms.
