How do I log in to the library?

Whenever you try to access an online library resource, such as a database, article, or ebook, you will be prompted to "choose how to sign in". There are three login options for the library:

  • Individual Students and Alumni (formerly NCU)
    • Use this option if you are a current student or alumni with an @o365.ncu.edu email address.
  • Group-based Students, Faculty, and Staff (NU email)
    • Use this option if you are a current student, faculty, or staff member with an @student.nu.edu, @nu.edu, or @natuniv.edu email address.
  • Alumni Login
    • Use this option if you are an alumni without an @o365.ncu.edu email address. You must have an alumni library account, which can be requested here.

Please ensure that you are selecting the correct login option. The most common login error we see is when users select the wrong option. Once you select the correct login option, proceed to enter the same login and password used to access your online classes. If you are having trouble logging in, each login page has links for additional help.

Who can access the National University Library?
You must be currently enrolled as a student at National University, or be a member of our staff or faculty, to access online library resources. Alumni have limited access to the library if they sign up for a free alumni library membership. To learn more, please visit Alumni Library Resources and Services.
