Access to Library Resources through Single Sign-On
OpenAthens is the NU Library's authentication system used to provide members of the NU community with access to library resources. Use your NU login credentials for access. When you click to access a library resource, you will be redirected to the below authentication page where you may enter your NU login credentials. This is the same login that you use to access your courses through NCUOne or NU Brightspace. For example, your username is your NU school email address ending in @o365.ncu.edu or @student.nu.edu.
Current 1-1 students and alumni with an @o365.ncu.edu email address can select the first sign-in option. Current NU Class-Based students, faculty, and staff can use the second sign-in option.
If you come to the library through NCUOne, NU Brightspace, or the Student Portal, you should just need to click the appropriate sign-in option and you'll be passed through to the library resource you are trying to access.
