Monthly Payments – How will my course schedule affect the monthly payments under the Montgomery GI Bill or the Chapter 35 Dependents Education Assistance program?

Payments under these benefits are sent directly to you at the beginning of each calendar month. The amount of the monthly payment is based on the number of days you were in a course during the previous calendar month. The payment will be prorated if you were not in a course for the full calendar month.
