Course Retakes – Will VA still pay my benefits if I retake a course?
Answer
If the course is required for the completion of the degree and has not yet been completed successfully by the student, then VA will pay education benefits for the retake of the course. VA will not pay benefits for the retake of a course that has previously been completed successfully.
